As the only UK lung cancer charity to support everyone affected by lung cancer, we see it as our responsibility to speak out on behalf of people living with lung cancer.
From raising awareness, to challenging misconceptions and campaigning for better quality of life, we do everything we can to ensure everyone has an increased awareness of the disease and who affects. And, for the people who have lung cancer, we ensure they live well with it.
Let Go of the Labels
Labels like smoker and never smoker can distort what’s really going on and deny people the change of an earlier, life saving diagnosis. It’s time to Let Go of the Labels and simply recognise that lung cancer, just like all other cancers, is a disease that can affect anyone.

Our role in lung cancer screening
For decades, we have campaigned for the implementation of lung cancer screening. Now, we are proud to support the national role and save thousands of lives.

Be Unforgettable
It’s an instant death sentence. Only people who smoke get lung cancer. You’ll have a cough…. It’s time to forget everything you think you know about lung cancer.

Improving the symptomatic pathways
With three quarters of people with lung cancer diagnosed at late stage and GP referrals taking, on average, three visits, we need to make it easier for people with symptoms to get tested.

Genomic testing
No one should have to wait longer than 14 days for genomic testing. We want everyone with lung cancer to undergo genetic testing and for results to be received within two weeks.
As part of our Still Here campaign, we teamed up with shadow theatre company and Britain’s Got Talent winners, Attraction, to create a bespoke performance bringing lung cancer out of the shadows to demonstrate the importance of recognising symptoms and acting on them

Like Me
Many people believe lung cancer can only affect certain people. Featuring 10 women under 50, Like Me looks to challenge the misconceptions around lung cancer, increase awareness and improve early detection.

Follow my Lead
It’s time to cut the clichés and find a better way to talk about lung cancer. Because people living with lung cancer need comfort, not awkwardness. They need sincerity, not platitudes. They need support, not judgement.

Spot the Difference
With a disease as serious as lung cancer, you would expect symptoms to match the severity. However, the reality is early symptoms of lung cancer are often subtle and easy to dismiss as something else but we’re helping people to Spot the Difference.
