Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation is the only UK lung cancer charity dedicated to helping everyone affected by the disease.
We are seeking health promotion workers to help us promote and encourage members of the public to attend lung health checks if invited to do so by their GP. Raising the awareness of lung cancer and its symptoms through the Targeted Lung Health Check programme to improve early detection and save lives.
You will work in a small team (3-4 people), setting up and running roadshows in a variety of locations. We are looking for candidates who are personable and willing to engage with and talk to the public about the Targeted Lung Health Check programme. All training will be provided and although a background in health is not essential it may be of benefit.
A flexible attitude and a willingness to travel is essential as there is a requirement for sessional workers to attend different venues throughout England.
