Marketing Executive
Full time: 34 hours per week
Salary: £18,000 – £24,000 (depending on experience)
Location: Hybrid (Minimum two days a week in the Liverpool office)
We are looking for two experienced Marketing Executives to join our passionate and enthusiastic marketing team. With a proven track record in delivering innovative marketing campaigns and activity, the successful candidates will have the opportunity to be part of a fast-paced and exciting team that works across the whole of the charity, including fundraising, retail, research and patient support.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the implementation of the charity’s day-to-day marketing activity across varying channels, including website, social media and mailshots, as well as supporting the Director of Marketing and Communications on national campaigns.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintain charity’s website using WordPress content management system
- Run social media channels and produce engaging social content to engage followers and encourage event interest and sign up
- Write compelling copy, including patient and supporter stories, and optimise for web
- Providing support for the Graphic Designer to devise creative marketing collateral. Experience in Adobe Creative Suites (specifically Photoshop and InDesign) and/or Canva is desired.
- Creating and administer all mailshot activity
- Finding opportunities and making recommendations for targeted marketing campaigns
- Ability to work proactively and reactively
- Identify trending topics and keep on top of industry news and events, responding accordingly
- Possess a strong attention to detail and proofreading skills, providing support to the PR and Communications Manager where required.
- Ability to work on multiple projects for varying audiences simultaneously to tight deadlines
- Monitor competitor analysis.
Minimum 2-year experience in a marketing role.
