Smash Sherwood returns for 2026 with 5k, 10k, 16k and Junior Race routes!

Registration & Help Desk: Make your way to the on-site Registration. Please have your registration confirmation (electronically) to hand. You will be given your race bib number, timing chip and safety pins (race belts are welcome, and please add your emergency contact number and details on the back of your chip timing).

5k

You must be 14 or older to take part in the 5k event.
10k
Start time – TBA
Race fee: £30
You must be 15 or older to take part in the 10k event.
16k
Start time – TBA
Race fee: £40
You must be 16 or older to take part in the 16k event.
Junior Race
Start time – TBA
Race fee: £15
You must be 4 or older to take part in the Junior Race. All children must be accompanied by an adult, and tickets will include a chaperone place in the race.
Parking
On-site parking is available for all participants. Car sharing is encouraged, so please do this where you can. Alternatively, if you plan to come by train, please visit https://www.nationalrail.co.uk/ to establish the nearest station to the Forestry England site. Alternatively, use a local bus provider for relevant bus/coach information.
Additional information
Facilities: Forestry England toilet facilities are available on-site, and portaloos are available on the event field. The café is open to all participants and spectators for pre & post-race refreshments.
Medal & T-shirt: At the finish line, you’ll be presented with your well-earned finisher medal and t-shirt.
