Cycle Madagascar

Cycle Madagascar

Registration fee: £399 Minimum sponsorship: £3,800
27th September 2019 Africa

During our Cycle Madagascar we will cycle along secluded rural roads and avenues of Baobabs, explore rainforests, beaches and discover the stunning Mantasoa Lake. You will find many species of wildlife at the Indri reserve in Andasibe-Mantadia National Park, meander through highland villages, paddy fields and lush tropical fruit plantations.

Although Madagascar is an island, there is nothing small about it. In fact, it’s a world of adventure and wonder!

The Cycle Madagascar challenge is open to anyone over the age of 18 and takes approximately 9 days. This cycle is tough but achievable providing you have trained correctly beforehand. You will be cycling for 6 consecutive days in warm temperatures. You can expect to be in the saddle for an average of 8 hours a day. The fitter you are, the more you will enjoy this challenge. A full training guide will be provided in your welcome pack when you register with Global Adventure Challenges.

There are two different payment options for this challenge:

OPTION A – Raising a Minimum Sponsorship

You will be required to pay a registration fee of £399 to Global Adventure Challenges and then raise the minimum sponsorship for Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation (£3,600). 80% of the minimum sponsorship must be in the account at least 11 weeks prior to the departure date of the Challenge. All outstanding sponsorship MUST be sent to the Charity within six weeks of completing the Challenge. Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation will be invoiced by Global for the remaining balance of the Challenge 10 weeks prior to departure.

OPTION B – Self-Funding Option

You will be required to send your registration form to Global Adventure Challenges, together with the Registration Fee. 11 weeks prior to departure, an invoice will be sent to you for the cost of the Challenge (£1,800). Although there is no minimum sponsorship required, you can, if you wish, raise additional funds for RCLCF.
