Enterprise 50/50 is a fantastic way to raise money and help children take their first steps in the world of business. Each team will receive £50.00 start-up capital to create their own business. They will then have 50 days to turn around as much profit as possible with profits going to support all those affected by lung cancer.
The winner overall will win an amazing new age education workshop with Teach Rex.
Please note this challenge is only available to 50 schools.
Teach Rex is a wonderous experience that transports children into the magical world of dinosaurs and dragons, transforming the classroom into an interactive learning experience.
Using Ofsted guidelines, the curriculum and their teaching experience, Teach Rex creates the optimal environment for learning, with workshops are designed for children of all abilities and ages. Workshops are complemented by materials connecting the experience to science, English and ICT, helping children to continue the learning long after the session is over.
How the challenge works
Enterprise Challenge 50/50 is a free challenge aimed at primary school children aged 9 – 11 (but any age can get involved!). We will provide lesson plans, fun activities and resources to support your children, as well as provide a £50 loan per group.
The challenge is really flexible, you can even do it as a class, working on the various aspects from design, marketing and sales to maximise your profits.
Once you’ve signed up we’ll send you a link to download all five sessions. We do recommend following these in order, however, the challenge is flexible so you can choose not to do certain activities if they aren’t suitable.
The September challenge gives you 55 days with a week flexibility to complete the challenge. Please note, any half-terms during this period have been excluded from the number of days it takes to complete the 50/50 Enterprise challenge.
We’ll be giving schools the opportunity to sign up from 19/09/2022 with final registrations closing on 10/02/2023.
