The routines
The first will be a routine perfect for beginners, and the second will be a slightly more advanced routine – for those looking for a bit more of a challenge! Both routines will be sent to all those who registered to take part, so don’t worry if you have two left feet or you’re a trained dancer, our routines will be suitable for all abilities and you’ll have access to the tutorials as soon as you register.
Once you’ve mastered your chosen routine, we’ll come together virtually on Sunday 21st May at 1pm to tap together!
Claire and the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation team will go LIVE on our Time to Tap Facebook group, using Zoom as a platform, so that we can all see one another whilst we dance together in unison.

Whilst learning and tapping together you’ll be helping to raise funds to create a brighter future for all those affected by lung cancer.
You can take part as a dance school, group or individually and choose which routine best suits you. Everyone that registers will receive the two routines and step by step tutorials and a unique Time to Tap medal on completion.
All those that raise £50 or more will receive our exclusive Time to Tap t-shirt to wear on the day with pride! (Please note, the final posting date for t-shirts is one week before the event, so targets must be reached in advance of this date)

Shortly after registering, you’ll receive the tutorial links and will be supported by our team as you practice, prepare and fundraise for our performance on 21st May 2023. Then a few days before Time to Tap day, we will send you the all important Zoom details for you to join Claire LIVE!
Our charity was named after one of the UK’s most iconic tap dancers – Roy Castle OBE. We love nothing more than continuing Roy’s legacy and inspiring the nation to Tap their way to raising money to help all those affected by lung cancer.

Last years Time to Tap raised over £18,000 and this year we’re hoping to raise even more, so don’t delay and sign up today – the earlier you sign up the more time you have to practice and smash your fundraising target.
What’s the best way to fundraise?
Tell everyone what you are doing and why, and be confident that you are doing something incredible! Friends, colleagues, and family will want to support you and be updated on your progress, we offer lots of support throughout the challenge to help you reach your own fundraising target. There are lots of different ways you can fundraise, click one of the buttons below to get started.
Best of all we want to invite you to our Time to Tap Facebook community to share your progress, support and encourage others with a passion for dance and receive tips, tricks, and updates from our Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation team.
