It’s Time to Tap!

Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation’s virtual tap-dancing event is back and it is set to be the best yet! Join us from the comfort of your own home to celebrate your love of tap dancing with hundreds of others as we celebrate together and fundraise to support people affected by lung cancer.

Our host

We’re lucky to have wonderful tap dancer and presenter Naomi Wilkinson, best known for her time on Milkshake, CBBC and Countryfile, leading the way in choreographing two routines for you to follow.

Our host

The routines

The first will be a routine perfect for beginners, and the second will be a slightly more advanced routine – for those looking for a bit more of a challenge! Both routines will be sent to all those who sign up so don’t worry if you have two left feet or you’re a trained dancer, our routines will be suitable for all abilities.

Once you’ve practiced your chosen routine, or have worked your way through both, we’ll virtually join together across the nation on Sunday 22nd May at 2pm to tap together! Join Naomi LIVE on a special Zoom event while you join along in unison.

Time to Tap has been designed to create a community for all that have a passion for Tap. Sign up today to become part of our tap dancing community and join others across the nation who share the same love of tap. While dancing together you’ll be helping to raise funds for all those affected by lung cancer.
You can take part on your own, with a group of friends or as part of a dance school. Simply choose which routine best suits you and off you go!

All those who take part will receive a unique Time to Tap medal soon after the event. All those that raise £25 or more will receive an exclusive Time to Tap t-shirt as a token of our appreciation.

Shortly after registering, you’ll receive links to your routine and will be supported by our team as you practice, prepare and fundraise for our performance on 22nd May 2022. Then a few days before Time to Tap day, we will send you the all important Zoom details for you to join Naomi LIVE!

Our charity was named after one of the UK’s most iconic tap dancers – Roy Castle OBE. We love nothing more than continuing Roy’s legacy and inspiring the nation to Tap their way to raising money to help all those affected by lung cancer.

We bring to you all of our fundraising events in order to raise as much as we possibly can for lung cancer research. We see first-hand how the money you raise provides essential lung cancer research, allowing us to continue looking for ways to detect the disease as early as possible and therefore save lives.
