Take on Trekfest – the Peaks for lung cancer research and support. Challenge yourself to this stunning 25km or epic 50km event.
Trekfest – The Peaks takes place in Britain’s first National Park, the Peak District, which is classed as one of the most beautiful and inspiring parts of the UK.
The Peak District is home to some absolutely stunning scenery and more than lives up to its reputation as one of Britain’s most inspiring National Parks. It is also home to some equally stunning climbs, including the moorland plateau, Kinder Scout. Part of the moor, at 636 metres (2,087 ft), is the highest point in the Peak District, the highest point in Derbyshire and the highest point in the East Midlands.
Trekfest – The Peaks challenge routes encompass an impressive network of footpaths and bridleways, including parts of The Pennine Way and The Pennine Bridleway.
You will be supported by mountain leaders, marshalled check points and support vehicles keeping you safe and motivated along the route.
Whether you enter Trekfest – The Peaks as a team or an individual, there will be plenty of support to help you with training and fundraising. Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation will provide you with support, fundraising materials and one of our bespoke sports t-shirts to wear on the day.
Trekfest – The Peaks has created two separate distances, so it really is a challenge for everyone. You can take on the epic 50km challenge, or if that seems a little daunting, you can conquer the 25km route.
