We understand the importance of connecting with others and accessing trusted information in a supportive environment. That’s why we provide a range of face-to-face support services to help anyone affected by lung cancer, including information days, support groups, and community engagement events.
Information Days
Our lung cancer information days bring together patients, families, and lung cancer specialists to provide valuable insights, guidance, and peer support. These free events are held across the UK and are designed to offer:
- Talks from experts: Hear from oncologists, thoracic surgeons, lung cancer nurses, physiotherapists, and nutritionists.
- Patient stories: Learn from those who share their experiences of living with lung cancer.
- Opportunities to connect: Meet others facing similar challenges and share advice.
- Refreshments and Q&A sessions: Enjoy a relaxed atmosphere where you can ask questions and gain knowledge tailored to your needs.

Keith’s experience
“My nurse told me about the charity’s information day. It was really useful for both me and my partner. We found out about what was going on in terms of treatment and care. I also picked up a couple of information booklets too – one explaining immunotherapy and the other with help on how to live well with lung cancer.”
