At the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation, we know that every story matters. Our Talk of Hope podcast is dedicated to sharing real experiences from people affected by lung cancer — experiences that inspire, educate, and offer hope to others navigating their own journey.
We’re looking for guests who would like to join us and share their personal stories.
Who We’d Love to Hear From
We’d particularly love to hear from you if you can relate to one or more of the following:
- You have thoughts or experiences around the term palliative care
- You want to share how you found hope after your diagnosis
Your story could help others feel less alone, provide insight into living well with lung cancer, and highlight the power of hope.
What Being a Guest Involves
- A relaxed conversation with our podcast hosts, Rachel Avery and Mandee Lucas
- Flexible recording options via Zoom
- Sharing as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. You’ll receive a full brief prior to recording with key talking points, plus the chance to chat to Rachel ahead of recording to ask any questions.
- Helping others by giving them a personal perspective on life with lung cancer.
Why Share Your Story?
By sharing your experiences, you’ll be giving hope, raising awareness, and helping to break the stigma surrounding lung cancer. Every story shared can make a real difference in someone’s journey.
How to Get Involved
If you’d like to join us as a guest, contact us directly at rachel.avery@roycastle.org. We’ll get in touch to discuss your story and the best way to share it on Talk of Hope.
Together, we can shine a light on hope and resilience in the lung cancer community.
