Gifts in Wills have led up to where we are today. A gift in your Will can lead us to where we need to be tomorrow.
By pledging your support and leaving a gift in your Will, you are ensuring a brighter future for people with lung cancer. You can helping to rewrite the narrative so more people can live through lung cancer than die from it.
A gift in your Will means we can:
- Develop the next generation of lung cancer researchers who could be the key to long term survival.
- Support all those affected by lung cancer in the way that best suits them – in person, on the phone and online.
- Expand and evolve lung cancer screening, so more people have their cancer caught at the earliest opportunity and be given the best chance to live through lung cancer.
- Rewrite the narrative engulfing lung cancer, combat stigma and challenge the dangerous misconceptions that can prevent people from life-saving treatment.

Will Writing Service
Making a Will is one of those things we tend to put off. It is not something we really want to think about. However, it is important to have a Will to ensure our loved ones are protected, provided for, and save them from additional stress – whatever our financial situation.
Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation would always recommend that you should consult a solicitor or specialist Estate planner in order to discuss your particular requirements in detail. We understand that for some this may not be possible, whether this is because of time constraints or for cost reasons, that’s why we have partnered with Will-writing specialists to ensure all our supporters can write their Will, without the associated costs.

Leaving a Legacy
As you complete your instructions, you will be asked if you would like to leave a gift to Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation. You are under no obligation to do so, and you will not be pressured to do so.
Gifts in Wills makes up a third of our charity’s income. Without them , we would not have achieved all this…
Built the first lung cancer research centre
Funded the first lung cancer nurse specialist
Pioneered new treatments to cure lung cancer
Provided practical, emotional and financial support to thousands of people
Implemented the smoking ban in public places
Campaigned for the implementation of lung cancer screening
So many of our achievements are down to the legacy of Roy Castle. His Tour of Hope in 1994 set the wheels in motion to build the first ever lung cancer research centre.
Since then, we have continued the work he set out to achieve – making the future brighter for the generations that followed him.
