Venture into wild landscapes and ride along some of the best scenic cycling roads in Scotland – all to show your support for people affected by lung cancer.
This challenge takes you across 200 miles, starting from the beachfront on Whitley Bay at the first ray of sunrise, soon after you’ll cross the border to Scotland, aiming to reach the coast in Ayr to witness the sun setting into the sea beside the Isle of Arran.
The route is full of beautiful views of rivers, lochs, castles and beaches – you’re sure to feel inspired along this stunning route.

If you’re up for this spectacular challenge, sign up with our event planning parters Chase the Sun and let them know you choose to fundraise for Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation. There’s no minimum sponsorship for this challenge, just raise what you can.
Once registered, our team of friendly fundraisers will get in touch to make sure you have everything you need to prepare for your challenge. We will help you with training tips, fundraising ideas and send you out a bespoke Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation t-shirt to wear on the day!
