Discover the hidden parts of one of the world’s most stunning cities all while challenging yourself with a tough 35km trek, inclusive of a 900m ascent.
Based in the heart of Edinburgh, the trek will take you to the summit of Edinburgh’s 7 hills that surround the beautiful city. You’ll follow historic waterways, forgotten railways, stop off at castles and palaces and climb to the summit of an extinct volcano!
It’s a fantastic opportunity to experience Scottish treasure whilst also supporting all those affected by lung cancer.

Why take on the Edinburgh 7 summits challenge for Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation?
- We are the only lung cancer charity in the UK dedicated to helping everyone affected by lung cancer.
- Lung cancer is a disease that, despite what many may think, can affect anyone.
- It is the UK’s biggest cancer killer, with over 36,000 dying from lung cancer every year. It kills more people than breast, prostate and pancreatic cancer combined, and more women than breast and ovarian cancer combined.
- It is our mission to ensure everyone diagnosed with lung cancer can live well with the disease for as long as possible.
