Get your friends and family together this June and participate in the Wirral Coastal Walk! Starting at the floral pavilion in New Brighton and finishing at the Wirral Country Park in Thurstaston, we’ll walk a total of 12.5 miles and take in the stunning coastal scenery along the way!
This is a great walk for anyone to enjoy and is accessible for all ages and abilities. Even better, when you get to the finish we will be there to celebrate your achievement with you! Please scroll down to register.
Travel Information
There will be buses available between 12:00 pm and 5:00 pm from Thurstaston to West Kirby Station for a £1 donation and Thurstaston to the Floral Pavilion, New Brighton for a £3 donation.
Parking is available at the Thurstaston car park, and the Council has agreed to suspend parking charges throughout the day of the Wirral Walk. Please note that the car park closes at 5.30 pm – but your walk will be complete before then!

The money raised from your Wirral Walk will help us support the 48,000 people diagnosed with lung cancer in the UK every year. It will also help us find more ways to diagnose the disease at the earliest opportunity when it is easier to treat and even cure.

More information about the Wirral Coastal Walk
The Wirral Coastal Walk is organised by the amazing Rotary Club to support local charities and communities including Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation. The walk is open to all ages and abilities with tickets costing £5 per person with under 10’s costing just £1.
There is no minimum fundraising amount to take on the Wirral Coastal Walk but we would be grateful if you could raise whatever you can to support all those affected by lung cancer. Kickstart your fundraising by setting up your Just Giving page here!
