Smash Sherwood in 2024!
Head to Sherwood Pines in Nottinghamshire for a scenic 5k or 10k forestry run and take the chance to compete against yourself across areas of natural beauty.
Course Information
Smash through the pines of this Nottinghamshire hidden forest and explore the rugged terrains of these forest tracks. With a variety of long downhill’s and straight runs you’ll get into a strong constant tempo that will push you to the finish line.
Choose between either a 5k or 10k chip timed run and enjoy a race of true grit. Both distances are open to all abilities with routes fully marked and marshalled to direct you throughout the race.

Smash Sherwood makes up the very first race of our Ultimate Run Series and it’s certainly not one to be missed. See below all you’ll receive and location facilities below.

Parking: Accessible parking is available with event discount of £3. Before race day we’ll send you a code to receive your on-the-day parking discount.
Refreshments: The café onsite at Sherwood Pines visitor centre are open to serve hot/cold drinks and light snacks.
Toilets: The main toilet block onsite at Sherwood Pines visitor centre is accessible to all runners, spectators, and volunteers.
Bag drop: There will be no formal bag drop onsite.

It is our mission to ensure everyone diagnosed with lung cancer can live well with the disease for as long as possible.
