“It was my rock and the advice was nothing short of brilliant. No internet search would have come up with the answer the nurses gave me, but more importantly, no internet search would have provided me with the amount of encouragement, calm and level-headedness that the helpline nurses did.”
Larissa, helpline user
During meetings with medical staff it can often be overwhelming with the amount of information you’re given, so our lung cancer helpline can help answer any questions you may have in the comfort of your own home. You may want to know more about a lung cancer diagnosis, a type of treatment, or what support is available near you. Whatever your question, we will make time for you and go out of our way to give you the help and support you need.
Some of the most common questions asked on the helpline include:
- Symptom management
- Localised support services
- Treatment options
- Second opinions
Call our Ask the Nurse helpline on 0800 358 7200 or email lungcancerhelp@roycastle.org or fill in the form below and a member of our team will contact you shortly.
