Getting your fundraiser set up
Your next step is to set up your JustGiving page. Once you’ve done that we’ll be able to see how you’re doing with your fundraising and with every milestone we’ll send you a gift as a token of our appreciation. Just as a reminder, here is what’s up for grabs.

Why your support matters
By signing up to our Swimming the Distance challenge you will be helping people like Kerrie who was diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer in February 2020.
Despite her diagnosis, Kerrie decided she wanted to help others and last year, signed up to our Swimming the Distance challenge. Kerrie swam 10,085 in a bid to raise vital funds for Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation.
“I was diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer in February 2020 and realised quite quickly how underfunded this cancer is due to the stigma. My hope is that with more funds raised, more treatments will become available so that we can all live longer whilst managing this disease.”
Kerrie is now on the watch and wait regime after receiving treatment throughout the pandemic, which resulted in a 85% reduction in her primary tumour.
Without your support we couldn’t continue to fund vital research projects that progress knowledge of lung cancer and treatment options for patients like Kerrie.
