Why your support matters
By taking on Walk in White, you’ll be helping to raise vital funds that support people like Karen, who joined one of our online support groups for those going through chemotherapy.
Karen has the EGFR Exon 21 mutation and started on Osimertinib in June 2021. However, it was soon uncovered that her cancer had spread. After being taken off her targeted treatment, she was offered chemotherapy.
“When Osimertinib stopped working, I thought that was it. But it wasn’t and in fact, I have done things this past year that, without my diagnosis, I probably wouldn’t have been able to do. I’ve been able to give my girls some incredible memories and will continue to do so for as long as I can.”
