About Nick and Paula
Nick and Paula love their holidays. As a keen scuba diver, Nick has explored many tropical shores. However, in 2017 he feared he had done his last dive when he was diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer.
Initially, Nick was given a 50% chance of surviving for five years. However after undergoing surgery and chemotherapy, Nick remains cancer free. What’s more, five months after chemo he was diving again.
Throughout his diagnosis and treatment, Nick received support from Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation. In return, he has hosted many fundraisers and participated in several awareness campaigns.
When he and Paula set up Globalocity, he soon realised it offered another way to give back to the charity that helped him through his lung cancer experience.
I am so grateful for everything Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation did for me and Paula during my diagnosis and am always looking for ways to give back.
I am so lucky to have had the experience I did. I know others aren’t so lucky. Through Globalocity, we can help patients and their loved ones take the stress out of booking holidays and create wonderful memories – all whilst giving back to this wonderful charity.
