Spooky Welly Walk Volunteers
Our famed Spooky Welly Walk is returning to both Liverpool and Birmingham this year following years of success. As true of our events, we couldn’t do it without our volunteers. If you are able to attend, or know anyone in the area who could lend some time, we’d love to hear from you!

Liverpool Spooky Welly Walk
Date of event: Saturday 19th October
Location: Sefton Park, Liverpool, L17 1AP
Volunteer hours: 9.00am – 5.00pm
Expected visitors on the day: 9,000
Birmingham Spooky Welly Walk
Date of event: Saturday 26th October
Location: Cannon Hill Park, Birmingham, B12 9QH
Volunteer hours: 10.00am – 5.00pm
Expected visitors on the day: 3,000
Both Sefton Park and Cannon Hill Park will be filled with ghouls, ghosts, superheroes and little monsters as they complete our famed Spooky Welly Walks. We would love you to join us on the day to lend some time and support. Hours needed for both events are indicated above although if you cannot work these, please still get in touch and we can work this around you.
Filled with tricks, treats and all sorts of surprises, our flagship event needs willing bodies to help make this year’s the best yet! If you would like more information please contact Chelsea.Mitchell@roycastle.org.
There are many roles to be played on the day, from manning one of our activities such as the Yucky Dip and Terrifying Tattoos to stewarding, guiding attendees in the right direction and being on hand should walkers have any questions.
